Black to play.
White’s army is paralized: the queen must watch over her home square, the rook can not leave the first rank and the knight covers the king from a deadly Qd3+. It means that there are probably several good moves available for Black here: 1…Rd4 and the queen is lost since there are no free squares on the d1-h5 diagonal (also checking on c8 is impossible).
The machine revealed to me the best move, which was played by G. Kamsky, …Be4 with the threat of mate in 1, the queen is forced to take it and the back rank collapses.
Was move Be4 made by Kamsky or Yermolinsky?
My mistake, once again! Yermolinsky had the black pieces. 🙂
You are human, so am I 🙂
